For the USDA Crop Progress report released on August 18, NASS pegged Ohio’s corn crop at 77% in the dough stage and 16% dented, compared to the 5-year-average of 69 and 18%, respectively. 1% of Ohio’s corn is mature, right in line with the average.
Soybeans are moving along as well, with all but 3% blooming and 87% setting pods.
