MATTAWA, Wash. – Moses Lake Major Crimes Detectives were called in to assist the Mattawa Police Department with a shooting investigation at Hundt Park during the evening hours of August 17.

According to a release by Moses Lake Police, the incident is now being treated as a homicide after the victim, a 19-year-old male from Mattawa, succumbed to his injuries.

No arrests have been made yet. Detectives from Moses Lake, along with the Grant County Sheriff's Office, are actively working on the case.
