CLEVELAND (WJW) -- The FOX 8 I-Team has uncovered more about a mystery, raising new questions about plans to build a dome for the Cleveland Browns in the shadow of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
The I-Team investigated the story behind a sudden snag for the project, a state denial of a construction permit.
The Ohio Department of Transportation determined that building a dome across from Hopkins Airport would interfere with air traffic. But, as we started asking what led to this, we found more mystery.
We took a closer look at a denial letter from ODOT, and we noticed it had no signature.
Earlier, we reported the Federal Aviation Administration had made a determination that the dome would be "no hazard" to air navigation.
