Restaurants in Washington, D.C. , are experiencing a dip in online reservations following President Donald Trump’s actions to reduce crime in the city.
After Trump announced he would federalize the Metropolitan Police Department and deploy the National Guard, dining reservations dropped 16% last Monday compared to the same date last year, according to OpenTable data . Reservations fell as much as 31% last Wednesday. By Sunday, they were down by 22%.
