But how about a hitter throwing his bat at the pitcher?
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles was ejected Sunday after he hurled his bat towards pitcher Joey Estes during a minor league rehab game for the Tacoma Rainiers.
The incident occurred when Robles was nearly hit by a pitch up and in near his shoulder and face. Robles, who swung at the pitch to make it an 0-1 count, responded by picking up his bat by the handle and whipping it towards Estes on the mound. He then charged the mound before being held back by the home plate umpire and on-deck hitter, which led to both dugouts clearing onto the field.
