As Monday kicks off Public Service Pride Week , public servants are expected to enjoy a whole range of work-hour events including drag queen bingo.
As reported Monday by , officials at the Immigration Department — who are hosting the affair — declined to comment on the event, which is being held at an undisclosed cost.
“Join us for an afternoon of glitz, giggles and outrageous fun at Drag Bingo!” read the notice for Thursday’s event, hosted by noted Canadian drag queens Sunshine Glitterchild sand Saltina Shaker.
“Bring your lucky charms, your loudest cheers and your best bingo face, it’s going to be an event to remember!”
The event will also feature a “pride potluck” and meet-and-greet with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Director-General Emmanuelle Deault-Bonin.
