JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is leaving the Show-Me State to take a job with the federal government.
According to a release from Bailey’s office, he was selected to serve as the Co-Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Missouri’s 44th Attorney General said it has been a " humbling privilege” and said he is forever grateful.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said Bailey’s leadership will be a tremendous asset to the country.
Governor Mike Kehoe will name Bailey’s successor on Tuesday, August 19, at 10 a.m.
