A bridge replacement on Forest Service land will close approximately 3 miles of road west of Seeley Lake starting on Monday through the first week of September, the Lolo National Forest announced last week.

West Side Bypass, also known as National Forest System Road #2190, will close as workers replace Deer Creek Bridge. Officials recommended finding alternative routes for recreating in the area. Download PDF

“We appreciate the public’s patience during this necessary improvement project,” Seeley Lake District Ranger Kevin Doherty said in a press release. “The updated structure will not only support safer travel for forest users but also contribute to long-term stream health and habitat.”
