MISSOULA — Montana's cornerbacks hold the distinction as the only position group on the defense that returns multiple players who appeared on the weekly two-deep for more than half of the games last season.

However, the Griz have to replace both starters with the departures of Trevin Gradney and Ronald Jackson, who started every game last year. Back this fall are senior Kenzel Lawler and sophomore Kyon Loud, who were both backups during the 2024 season, their first year with the Grizzlies.

Lawler and Loud have now been takings reps with the first-team defense during fall camp. Seniors Justus Breston and Prince Ford have mainly been the guys with the second-team defense.
