Last year was a season of growth for Montana State linebackers Neil Daily and Bryce Grebe after the Bobcats’ lost starter Danny Uluilakepa to a torn ACL midway through 2024.

Grebe was “really nervous” to step up, he said, especially after getting limited reps as Uluilakepa’s backup for the first seven games. Daily added that it hurt losing Uluilakepa as a playmaker and as an on-field leader for the defense.
