CINCINNATI (WXIX) - This Cincinnati Bengals’ preseason means completely different things to the offense and the defense.

For the offense, this preseason is about getting Joe Burrow more prepared to play well in Week 1 and then looking for some offensive linemen to separate themselves in position battles.

For the defense, this preseason is about putting some belief in a rebuilding unit that needs something to pin up onto the fridge and point to for confidence.

While Burrow and the passing game should be much more prepared for the start of this season than previous years, there’s still a lot of work to do looking around the rest of the team.
