"The Ultimate '90s Movie" is hoping the third time at Bay Beach Amusement Park is the charm — and blissfully dry.
The independent movie that has been trying to film a critical scene with extras at the historic Green Bay park was rained out for a second time on Aug. 18.
The cast and crew arrived late morning and had hoped to be able to work around the showers, but it proved to be an unrelenting rain. Bay Beach eventually closed at 2 p.m. due to the weather.
The original Bay Beach shoot date of Aug. 9 was also interrupted by rain and storms and was moved to Aug. 18, the second-to-last day of scheduled filming for the Madison-based project.
Uncooperative weather has been a challenge for the cast and crew, but it won't stop them from returning. They will be back at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 1
