KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Law enforcement agencies in Missouri are warning the community about Purple Fentanyl .

The substance has been recently found in Johnson County, Missouri and in Omaha.

It’s a mixture of Fentanyl and the anesthetic “lidocaine”; the two combine to intensify the side effects of Fentanyl.

The Johnson County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office said this mixture can be resistant to Narcan.

Police in these areas said they believe the drugs are coming from the Metro.

Drug task forces in both Kansas City, Kansas, and Jackson County, Missouri, said they are not seeing the Fentanyl/Lidocaine mixture in their jurisdictions.
