SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Little League baseball fans filled the stands at Volunteer Stadium in South Williamsport as Asia Pacific took on the Caribbean.
Joe Tavaglione of Wyoming says, "The atmosphere here, the energy of people, everybody's friendly, and it's all about the kids. It's just so special for the kids."
Todd Brouse of Watsontown says, "I love this place, that's why I always try to come back once a year, just the atmosphere is amazing. I mean, you just have everybody from around the world coming together to enjoy one thing, my favorite thing, baseball, so it's one of my favorite times of year."
As the sun beat down on the fields, fans found lots of ways to stay cool. Newswatch 16 found lots of people filling up their cups at the slushy stand.
