On Your Side Update: More people accuse a Springfield contractor of failing to do work already paid for

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - More people are out thousands of dollars after a Springfield contractor doesn’t make good on the work he promised.

It’s a story we’ve told you about before . Bath Planet is accepting payments for new jobs that some customers have been waiting a year for.

“I’m on the verge of tears because I’m so mad. Verge of tears,” said Emi Bindi.

She says she recently signed a contract with Bath Planet for a new shower.

“My mom has an issue stepping over the bathtub, so we’re doing it for her, for health reasons,” she said.

Bindi says she made the down payment of $5500 and was given a completion date of July 18.

“We gave them the money that we thought was for the material, and then when they installed, I would pay separately for the installation. But, again, radio silenc
