OMAHA, Neb. —

Traffic will start to flow differently at the intersection of 32nd and Woolworth. The city of Omaha says 70 percent of vehicles in the area exceed the 30-mile-per-hour speed limit.

The intersection of 32nd Avenue and Woolworth will see a new roundabout in late summer 2025. It will be Omaha’s first quick-build modular roundabout. This low-cost project uses recycled materials and can be customized for any intersection and installed directly over existing roads.

Scott ODell has lived in the field club area for years and is a board member with the homeowner’s league.

"With this roundabout not having to adjust any property lines or just kind of be a pilot program, I think we are a really good neighborhood for it,” ODell said.
