DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man is facing multiple charges, including grooming, after police say he tried to meet a teenager for sex in the North Park Mall parking lot.

Eric Mckenzie, 55, is charged with:

Two counts of felony sexual exploitation of a minor, cause to engage in act

Felony grooming

Felony enticing a minor under 16, sexual purpose

Two counts of dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to minors, a serious misdemeanor

At the end of June, police said Mckenzie started chatting with an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl, on a social website, according to court documents.
