COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The leading four Republican candidates for governor were all in the same room for the first time since announcing their candidacies at this year’s “Freedom Fry.”

“Freedom Fry” is an annual event put on by South Carolina Republican Congressman Russell Fry (SC-07) and was held in Myrtle Beach this year.

All four leading candidates in the Republican primary: Ralph Norman, Nancy Mace, Pamela Evette and Alan Wilson, spoke to prospective voters tonight.

They all mentioned Donald Trump at some point during their speeches as they compete to win his crucial endorsement.
