GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) -The City of Glasgow has announced that they are looking to hire four police officers to add to the ranks of the Glasgow Police Department.
“Patrol offices are the backbone of any given police department in the city,” said Glasgow Chief of Police, Guy Howie. “They are the ones that you first see when you pull in, so true visibility. They’re the first responders to the crime scene, so they’re pretty important.”
Included in those four officer positions is a student resource officer, who will take on the duty of protecting children and maintaining a watchful eye for potential dangers throughout the school day.
