New details are coming out after a court hearing for the southern Indiana man arrested in a brutal murder was delayed.

On Monday, prosecutors charged 33-year-old Bryce Winnecke with murder and abuse of a corpse in his father's homicide.

Winnecke’s initial court hearing on Monday was postponed due to a “medical issue,” officials said. That hearing has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 1:30 p.m.
