RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -The outdoor agriculture arena is the newest addition to the Logan County Extension Campus.

According to agriculture and resources extension agent Leann Martin, the process to complete this project took three years with development, contracting and construction.

The arena is expected to hold over 1,600 people for horse shows, rodeos, tractor pulls and more.

“The track itself is 450 foot long, which is very it’s ideal for tractor pulls, especially just because of the amount of track that they need,” Martin explains. “It also opens up a lot of doors for our larger motor sports motocross and things like that.”

Martin says there was a need for a facility of this size within the area.
