HUNTER, N.D. — Northern Cass Schools broke ground Monday, Aug. 18, on a new health care initiative, making it just the second school in North Dakota to have a virtual visit access point through Essentia Health.

Valley City is the only other district with the service.

The access point will allow middle school and high school students and staff to have health care available on school grounds.

The virtual visit option will save students time in the classroom, with appointments taking about 20 minutes on screen instead of requiring them to leave school.
