TREMONTON, Utah (ABC4) — A lifelong Tremonton resident and friend of Sgt. Sorensen remembered his friend and discussed how the community can move forward from this tragedy as the procession for the fallen officers passed through Main Street.

On Sunday night, two Tremonton Garland Police Department Officers were shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call. Monday evening, an honor procession took Sgt. Lee Sorensen and Officer Eric Estrada from the Office of the Medical Examiner in Taylorsville home, where they will be laid to rest. Another officer, Deputy Mike Allred with the Box Elder Sheriff's Department, and his K9 Azula were also injured after they responded to a call for back up.
