A machete carrying teen struck fear into members of the public when he wielded the weapon in the middle of a beer garden.
Nathan Joyce, 18, brandished the terrifying blade in the outdoor drinking area of Bowring golf club in Knowsley, Merseyside.
His actions terrified staff and caused police to race to the area on July 10 this year. Appearing at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday (August 18), he pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Joyce stood in the dock wearing a black and blue tracksuit while sporting a bloodied bandage on his left arm.
