It's been 60 years since Bud Wright wasn't Sheridan football head coach

This is the first Indiana high school football season to begin without Bud Wright as Sheridan head coach since 1965.

Wright, the IHSAA's all-time wins leader, and Sheridan split last year after the school said it had agreed with Wright during the season it would be his final year as coach . Wright disagreed, saying the administration forced him out . Wright is helping out at North Miami this season, while one of his former players and assistant coaches, Jake Chesney, begins a new era as Blackhawks coach.

And a lot has changed since someone other than Bud Wright was Sheridan High School head football coach. For instance:
