MEMPHIS, Tenn. - It sounds like honest work for great money.

A young Whitehaven mother told FOX13 she was promised $5,400 a month to label and ship packages that were sent to her home.

"Oh, I'm very worried," said the woman, who asked not to share her name because she fears she could be a victim of identity theft.

She initially hoped it was a good work-from-home opportunity but began to grow skeptical.

"It's being shipped to my home, and you want me to relabel it and take it somewhere else to be shipped to God knows who?" she asked.

In this type of scam, the Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South warns victims about unknowingly using their own money to ship goods on the black market.
