Having decent neighbours is entirely down to chance. Whilst some prove to be thoughtful members of the community, others can be an absolute nightmare.

And sadly for one homeowner, the person living next door falls firmly into the second camp. They were livid to discover their neighbour had been placing sandbags outside during wet weather .

To the dismay of those living nearby, the bags were being utilised to channel water towards other people's homes. Turning to Reddit to elaborate on the issue, the frustrated resident explained: "Neighbour puts sandbag on the sidewalk to direct more rainwater on my property.

"Really annoying because it increases the amount of water running down the side of the house and makes the ground erode much faster than it should," reports the Mirror .
