EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - An Evansville man once charged with Neglect causing catastrophic injuries is back on jail this morning.

Authorities say Javontae Goldsby is being charged with neglect causing death.

Back in July of 2023 , Goldsby was arrested after deputies say his five-month-old infant had suffered life-threatening injuries at their home.

When we first reported the arrest two years ago, deputies said the infant had suffered several major injuries, including a skull fracture.
