ROCHESTER, Minn. – A woman with dementia has been reported missing in Rochester.

The Rochester Police Department says Evelyn Costa, 84, is believed to have wandered from the Kahler Grand Hotel on 2 Ave. SW at around 5 p.m. Monday.

Costa is described as “very petite” with dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a gray colored sweatsuit. Police say Costa recently had her appendix removed last month and would have a surgical scar. She was reportedly traveling with her husband and daughter when she disappeared.

Police say someone reported seeing a woman matching Costa’s description near Central Park on 1 Ave. N. at around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
