The weather this summer has been a mixed bag to say the least. We had barely shaken off the remnants of Storm Floris when a heatwave hit the UK, bringing temperatures of up to 29 degrees in the north-east.
And now, that burst of hot weather appears to be very much in the past as Storm Erin appears on the horizon.
The coming week is set to give us very temperature weather, with the forecast predicting temperatures between 16°C and 17°C, and plenty of sunshine.
However, things could change in the not-to-distant future ahead of Storm Erin's impending arrival. Currently, the storm is expected to hit down south first, but could later arrive in the north-east.
