BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

It may be the dog days of fall camp for the UAB Blazers, but you wouldn't know from watching Sirad Bryant dance through practice.

“I let my intrusive thoughts win sometimes, like I’m not going to lie,” Bryant said.

The redshirt senior always brings the energy.

“I love the game, I’ve been playing since I was six, man, it’s just been a blessing. Just be coming out here every day, have teammates that love me, have coaches that love me, and just being a part of a great culture,” Bryant said.

Whether he’s dancing or hitting a handstand, Coach Brent Vieselmeyer and the team love it.

“Every day Sirad’s jumping up and down it’s going to be contagious, and I think that enthusiasm really just keeps manifesting as we go,” Vieselmeyer said.
