BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football is going to need a whole lot of rally towels for the 2025 season after reaching a pair of ticket sale milestones ahead of its season opener against Old Dominion.

The towels featuring various designs, including coach Curt Cignetti’s “Study Later” plea to students, were a popular addition to IU’s gameday experience last year after they were introduced at midseason.

“That is now an Indiana football tradition that fans can count on,” senior associate athletic director for strategic communications Jeremy Gray said.

There are even groups volunteering to help the athletic department lay out the towels around Memorial Stadium before each home game.
