A special assistant attorney general in Rhode Island was arrested last week for alleged trespassing, and body camera of the arrest footage obtained by NBC affiliate WJAR shows the prosecutor telling police they would "regret this".

Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Hogan Flanagan was arrested with a friend outside of a restaurant in Newport for alleged trespassing, WJAR reported.

The incident happened outside the Clarke Cooke House on Bannister's Wharf.

WJAR reported the body camera footage shows an exchange between Hogan Flanagan and police, which escalates as Hogan Flanagan tries to get the officer to shut off the body camera.
