YOUNGSTOWN A woman was taken to a hospital after the car she was driving collided with a box truck at an intersection on Youngstown’s West Side on Tuesday morning.
The crash took place after 8 a.m., blocking Oakwood and North Glenellen Avenues.
Police, a fire rescue truck, and an ambulance were called to the scene.
The woman who was driving the car was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to police. Her daughter, who was a passenger in the car, wasn’t injured.
The car's front, passenger side fender was crumpled.
Police are still investigating.
