AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A mom was arrested on Monday after she allegedly left her 12-year-old daughter in an Evans store by herself, according to authorities.

Columbia County deputies say they responded to Publix, 5119 Washington Road, in reference of a missing person.

The incident report states a store manager told deputies a juvenile came to him looking for her mom, 36-year-old Samantha Williams.
