SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Two people were injured after a fire on Rochelle Street in Springfield on Tuesday morning.
The Springfield Fire Department states that at 8:47 a.m. on Tuesday, fire crews were called to 113 Rochelle Street for a reported fire. When crews arrived, they found a fire in an AC unit. • (WWLP-22News) • (WWLP-22News)
Two residents were taken to a local hospital for their injuries. The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad determined the cause of the fire was a malfunction with the AC unit.
