On August 16th, 2025, Robert Lynn Bickers, aged 79, returned to his Heavenly home to be with his deceased family and friends.

Born March 25th 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Norvin T. Bickers and Kathryne Fay Kelly in Louisville, Kentucky. As a teenager, he was fostered to Larry and Mayme Kelly, who loved and treated him like a son, all of his life. It was the Kelly’s who enrolled him in a Christian Boarding School for his school years, Hazel Green Academy. There, Robert developed long lasting friendships and deep connections to Hazel Green Academy, the town of Hazel Green and Wolfe County, which he always called home.
