CLAY CO. – An accident on I-65 northbound near mile marker 10.2 claimed the life of an Indianapolis woman on Monday afternoon.

Just before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, troopers from the Indiana State Police (ISP) Sellersburg Post, as well as officers from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, the Sellersburg Police Department, and Tri-Township Fire and Rescue, responded to the report of an injury crash on I-65 northbound near the 10.2 mile marker just north of the Sellersburg exit. Once on scene, officers discovered the passenger in one of the two involved vehicles was ejected during the crash, and the Sellersburg Post crash reconstruction team responded to investigate.
