ICE officers rescued 27 people, including 10 children, during a human trafficking ring bust in Nebraska.

The children were under the age of 12 and were found crammed in dirty motel rooms infected with cockroaches with inadequate sanitation.

According to ICE, the children and adults were being sex trafficked , and the motel was also being used for drug trafficking. The operation was being run out of motels and eyebrow salons in the Omaha, Nebraska area. Authorities also confiscated more than $565,000 in cash and drugs during their operation.
