IOLA − The Iola Old Car Show Inc. is seeking a new specialty license plate from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles.
The organization, which coordinates the Iola Car Show and Swap Meet, has submitted an application, a development fee of $15,500, and the signatures of 500 Wisconsin residents who intend to purchase the special plate if it is approved, according to the WisDOT website . According to its application, the group would collect $25 annual donations for each plate and for each registration renewal to support the organization.
