A woman has been jailed after inciting and filming a vicious attack between her dogs and a neighbour's cat, which was described by a judge as "sadistic and persistent."

Alexandra Jade Gregson, from Padiham in Lancashire , encouraged and filmed her dogs to attack and kill her neighbour's elderly cat before posting the footage to Snapchat, Lancs Live reports .

The video showed two dogs attacking a black and white cat in a garden as Gregson repeatedly shouted at the dogs: "You p*ssys, get it Zola, get that little cat. Go on Zola, get it!"

The video shows Poppy, a 15-year-old arthritic cat, known to rarely stray far from home, being chased by the dogs.
