PIERRE, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Five men were arrested as part of the South Dakota Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Four men were separately arrested while attempting to meet with someone they believed was a 14-year-old girl for sex acts.
One man was arrested on charges of solicitation for someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl for sex acts.
The defendants are:
Elmer James Hopper, 36, of Rapid City - charged with attempted enticement of a minor using the internet.
Beau James Remington, 23, of Black Hawk - charged with attempted enticement of a minor using the internet and attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor.
Jayson “Javi” Gomez, 30, of Rapid City - charged with attempted enticement of a minor using the internet
