OZARK -- A Franklin County man is accused of attempted homicide in the wake of an incident in which he allegedly rammed another vehicle with his own auto and ran over another person, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

Darrin Brown, 58, of Charleston was arrested Friday in connection with first-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault and first-degree interference with emergency communications, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Brown was arrested about 11:25 p.m. Friday for an incident that occurred earlier the same day in the area of Highview Road near Arkansas 215 about eight miles north of Charleston, the Sheriff's Office reported.
