ROME, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- Gov. Kathy Hochul was at the Rome campus of Mohawk Valley Community College to announce over $50 million in grants, including over $30 million for a shovel-ready site in the city.
The governor announced on Aug. 19 that over $51 million in Focused Attraction of Shovel-Ready Tracts New York (FAST NY) grants will be given to five sites across New York State. The grants are designed to prepare and develop sites to make them more attractive to large employers and high-tech manufacturing.
