Glendon “Jerry” Potter, 88, passed away on, Aug. 17, 2025, in Rhode Island Hospital.

He is the son of the late Glendon E. Potter and Anna M. (Tuntland) Potter. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Donald and David.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Santina “Sandy” Buglio Potter, his son Lt.Col. Jeffrey Potter, of South Kingstown, R.I., daughter, Donna Allard Potter, of Cumberland, R.I., son Timothy Potter of Lincoln, R.I., and son Sean Potter of Natick, Mass. Jerry is also survived by his brother Dean Potter of Sandwich, Ill. Additionally, he is survived by nine grandchildren, Ryan Allard, Bradford and Jeffrey Allard, Benjamin and Andrew Potter, as well as James, Annelise, and Juliette Potter and Mia Fanelli Potter, and one great-granddaughter, Iris Potter.
