Edward Ralph Garabedian, age 76, passed away peacefully on Aug. 14, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Deborah A. (Danzell) Garabedian.

Born in Providence, R.I., Edward was the son of the late Edward Garabedian and Margaret (Courser) Garabedian-Svibergson.

Edward was a dedicated and compassionate pharmacist whose devotion and personal sacrifice allowed Chapel Pharmacy to remain in operation for decades after the passing of his parents, continuing to serve the Cumberland community long after many independent pharmacies had disappeared. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy, where he finished at the top of his class, Edward was a proud alumnus of LaSalle Academy and Blessed Sacrament School.
