MESA, Ariz. — A Mesa business is cleaning up Tuesday after an unfortunate incident, the city's police department said.

According to Mesa police, an elderly woman mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake on her vehicle and crashed into a building near 63rd and Main streets.

There were no injuries, and police said impairment does not appear to be a factor.

Mesa Fire was on scene evaluating the structural integrity of the building after the crash. The identity of the woman or the name of the business was not released.
