Wet conditions: A storm system rolled through Southeast Michigan Tuesday morning and Lions head coach Dan Campbell saw it as a great opportunity to bring the team outside and practice in the elements. It was good to get work in the wet conditions, especially for the offensive skill positions. It's inevitable that the Lions will play an outdoor game in rainy conditions this season. We did see more drops from pass catchers than usual, which will be good teaching points for coaches.

Catch of the day: Rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa had a one-on-one rep with veteran cornerback D.J. Reed early in practice and TeSlaa made a terrific over the shoulder catch right at the pylon of the end zone with Reed in pretty good coverage.
