Triple homicide rocks Brooklyn as 12 shot in overnight Franklin Avenue bloodbath

BROOKLYN, NY — Sunday — A gunfire eruption at a Franklin Avenue address in Crown Heights early Sunday morning left three men dead and twelve others injured in one of Brooklyn’s most violent mass shootings in recent memory, as investigators work to piece together what triggered the deadly chaos.

Officers from the 71st Precinct responded around 3:27 a.m. to 903 Franklin Avenue following a 911 call reporting an assault in progress. Upon arrival, police found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds scattered across the scene.
