Ican only hope that letter writer James Waurin was being facetious when he wrote that Donald Trump’s next order will be to dissolve the U.S. Congress ( “When will people stand up to Trump?” Aug. 10)! Otherwise, that will go down as being one of the most ridiculous statements ever published.

The fact of the matter is, a leader gives orders. And I’m thankful we have a leader who is decisive and acts with the authority befitting the commander in chief, and gives appropriate orders when necessary. This is in stark contrast to Joe Biden who, in all likelihood, couldn’t give an order at McDonald’s. I have no love for Biden — and he’ll be remembered as the worst president in U.S. history, but I pitied him, nonetheless.
